Improved Privacy Protection
In order to better protect user privacy and simplify registration and login, after this version update, the default registration and login method for browser extension and website is email. Users do not need to bind their mobile phone number or complete real-name authentication to use all features; we are gradually phasing out the registration and login method via WeChat.
Users who previously registered via WeChat can bind their email after logging into the website.
All Features Are Free
After installing the Filmbudd Edge and Chrome extension for free from the store, and registering and logging in for free, you can use all features for free; in order to top the paid list, we have set the lowest tier of charges for the Filmbudd Safari extension. If you do not want to pay, you can use the Edge or Chrome extension instead, their features are identical.
The Filmbudd Android app and iOS app are similar, after installing for free from the app store, and registering and logging in for free, you can use all features for free. The iOS app, whether you subscribe or use it for free, the features are the same, we have retained the in-app payment ability for future more advanced personalized features.
